How do I get verified?
Open the app, go to your profile, and start the verification flow. Athletes verify identity and (where applicable) school enrollment; institutions complete a multi-step verification; agents upload current union certification. Verification helps keep the platform safe and compliant.
Who can see my profile?
By default, no pro team, agent, or media can see an athlete profile. Visibility is opt-in, per league, and you control it any time in Settings. School and coach visibility operates only within applicable compliance windows.
Are my videos protected?
Yes. Every uploaded video is automatically watermarked, and you confirm consent to watermarking before each upload. Watermarking helps protect your likeness, though it cannot prevent all third-party misuse.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Manage or cancel them in your device's account settings (Apple ID or Google account). Changes there take effect at the end of your current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and associated data at any time. See our Account Deletion page for steps.
I'm a parent — how do I help my child?
Many athlete accounts for users under the age of majority use a parent or guardian co-account. Parents and guardians can review settings, manage visibility, and request changes or deletion. Email support@athletesnow.app and we'll help.
Report a Safety or Compliance Concern
If you believe someone is misusing the platform, impersonating a user, or putting an athlete at risk, contact legal@athletesnow.app right away. Reports involving the safety of a minor are prioritized.
